Complexity of words

A "word" here is an infinite sequence of characters. Complexity of a word is measured in terms of the number "factors" it possesses of each length. Complexity is used to define Sturmian, episturmian, and Arnoux-Rouzy words, as well as the Rauzy gasket.

Words are studied for their behavior under various dynamic operations.
